Job summary

Growald Climate Fund is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead HR operations including payroll, benefits, leave, and records. The role focuses on a relational, human-centered staff experience within a hybrid Boston office environment.

You will partner with Finance and Legal, support onboarding and policy development, and drive HR process improvements with confidentiality and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience managing core HR operations including payroll, benefits, and leave administration.
• Experience applying employment compliance and handling policy issues.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll administration, benefits administration, leave tracking, HR systems, staff records, and compliance.
• Serve as a responsive resource for staff and managers, guiding policies and processes.
• Coordinate with Finance and Legal on payroll, benefits, and vendor relations.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, performance processes, and HR documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal on handbook reviews and policy updates.
