Job summary

Athlete To Athlete is seeking a dedicated People Operations and Office/Operations lead in Santa Monica to own the employee lifecycle, payroll, and workplace operations. You will partner with Insperity for benefits, oversee onboarding, offboarding, and policy updates, and ensure accurate records across HR systems.

The role requires 4+ years in People Ops or business operations, hands-on payroll experience, and strong judgment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in People Operations, HR, or business operations with hands-on ownership.
• Direct payroll experience with in-house processing.
• California employment compliance knowledge including leave administration.
• Clear writing and reliable follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Own People Operations and the employee lifecycle.
• Lead onboarding, offers, and documentation; manage benefits with Insperity.
• Manage payroll processing, timekeeping, and records.
• Oversee office operations, vendor relationships, and workplace safety.
• Coordinate recruitment support during ramp periods and ensure candidate experience.
