Job summary

24 Seven Talent in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations to lead the People function in a hybrid role (4 days onsite). This hands-on leader will own the full employee experience and build scalable, compliant, people-first practices that support growth.

You will partner with employees, managers, and leadership to drive core HR operations, compliance, benefits, and culture programs while shaping talent initiatives and culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HR or People Operations, with progressive roles.
• Proven end-to-end payroll ownership and vendor partnerships.
• Deep knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance.
• Strong leadership with ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead People Operations across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, leave administration, employee relations, and offboarding.
• Own payroll operations end to end, including timekeeping, PTO, employee changes, payroll reconciliation, and partnership with Accounting and payroll vendors.
• Serve as the internal owner and subject matter expert for HRIS, payroll, and People systems.
• Manage benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), COBRA, and FSA programs.
• Ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws, audits, filings, training, policies, and workplace requirements.
• Lead employee relations matters, investigations, performance concerns, and complex workplace issues with sound judgment and discretion.
• Coach managers on performance, communication, employee engagement, and policy application.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, hiring priorities, recruiting processes, and talent strategy.
• Own and strengthen performance management, employee development, retention, and culture initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, reporting, and vendor relationships.
