The role oversees HR operations, employee relations, compensation, benefits, HR technology, and organizational development, delivering measurable improvements in performance and culture across locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years progressive HR experience.
• 5+ years in HR leadership.
• Multi-state employment law expertise.
• Retail or multi-location operations experience.
• HRIS implementation and optimization.
• Compensation and benefits administration.
• Employee relations investigations.
• Organizational development.
• HR analytics and workforce planning.
• Project management and change management.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual People Operations roadmap and translate business goals into HR initiatives.
• Provide strategic oversight for HR operations across multiple states and locations.
• Lead complex employee relations matters including investigations and performance management.
• Own compliance programs (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEOC, OSHA, unemployment, wage & hour).
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and total rewards with market benchmarking.
• Manage HR systems, digital transformation, and payroll administration.
• Drive learning, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Develop policies, procedures, and SOPs; ensure governance and audit readiness.
• Coach managers on people leadership and build cross-functional partnerships.
• Lead external vendor relationships and HR project initiatives.
