Job summary

Delta Defense LLC in West Bend, WI is seeking a Manager, People Operations to lead HRIS, People Analytics, Payroll and Benefits. You will coach two early-career team members and build back-up across HRIS and payroll to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You will own multi-state payroll accuracy, data reporting, vendor management, and compliance, partnering with the People team to drive data-informed decisions and scalable systems for Delta's workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in HR, Business, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Certifications in HR, compensation, or payroll are a plus, not required.
• 5–8+ years in HR operations, payroll/benefits, or total rewards with leadership experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of HRIS/HCM systems and multi-state payroll.
• Strong employment and pay compliance knowledge.
• Enjoy growing early-career talent and own processes with ownership and calm under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HRIS / People Analytics lead, and the Payroll & Benefits Supervisor with clear goals.
• Develop and grow two early-career team members and coach them to build capability.
• Own accurate, on-time payroll and benefits administration across Delta's multi-state footprint.
• Own a reliable HRIS and people-analytics capability and maintain trusted reporting and roadmap.
• Manage HR systems and vendors; keep processes simple, documented, and scalable.
• Partner across the People team on data, leveling, offers, and process; support L&D and culture.
