Job summary

DESRI Project Management Services, L.L.C. invites students to join a Summer 2027 internship in Houston for a 10-week program spanning June through August.

The People/Business Operations Internship supports Business Operations, Recruiting, and Human Capital teams with projects across people, processes, and infrastructure. Interns will work with mentors on meaningful projects, gain exposure to firmwide initiatives, and present outcomes at the end of the summer.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset and interest in business operations, recruiting, human capital, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical acumen and sound judgment.
• Record of academic or professional achievement.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and solve organizational problems.
• Comfort working with data and deriving actionable conclusions from analyses.
• High initiative, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn how a growing organization operates.
• Undergrad in final year or graduate student preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve firmwide processes and support operational initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and develop tools or analyses to increase efficiency.
• Support recruiting lifecycle activities including candidate research, analytics, and interview coordination.
• Contribute to employee programs, learning and development, and people analytics.
• Collaborate across DESRI and present work to colleagues at summer’s end.
