Job summary

DESRI is seeking talented students for its Summer 2027 People/Business Operations Internship. The 10-week program runs June–August and offers hands-on projects across Business Operations, Recruiting, and Human Capital, with mentors and project managers guiding your development.

Interns will analyze processes, support recruiting analytics, and contribute to employee programs while visiting an operating asset and presenting results at summer's end.

Qualifications

• Analytical students with interest in business operations, recruiting, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical acumen, and sound judgment.
• A record of academic and/or professional achievement is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and solve organizational problems.
• Comfort working with data and drawing actionable conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Operations initiatives to improve firmwide processes.
• Assist Recruiting lifecycle activities, candidate research, and analytics.
• Contribute to Human Capital projects such as employee programs and learning.
• Collaborate with mentors and project managers; present work at summer’s end.
