Job summary

Lambda Inc. in San Francisco seeks an HR Generalist to build a best-in-class employee experience from hire to retire. You will champion our culture, manage onboarding and offboarding, and coordinate with HRBPs and IT.

The role requires 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in tech, strong communication, discretion, and proficiency with HRIS tools like Rippling or Workday; a thoughtful, scalable approach to people operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist or People Operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leaves, payroll support, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; Rippling and/or Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion Lambda’s culture and values across the employee experience.
• Deliver onboarding with pre-boarding, Day 1, and cultural integration.
• Own end-to-end offboarding with IT coordination and data updates.
• Provide HR support via ticketing system and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Assist payroll processing as a backup and support compliance activities.
• Maintain workplace postings in line with labor laws.
• Manage leaves and accommodations in coordination with HR team.
• Support HRIS data integrity and lifecycle changes in Rippling/Workday.
