Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with HRBPs and coordinators, shaping policies and programs to support a growing engineering and manufacturing workforce.

You will handle day-to-day employee inquiries, manage transfers and promotions, advise on performance and escalation, and drive HR projects with the broader team. This on-site role requires relocation if not local and offers a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• 6+ months as a SpaceX HR Coordinator or 1+ years of professional human resources experience
• Experience in engineering, production or manufacturing environment supporting an exempt and hourly workforce
• Ability to lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on

Responsibilities

• Partner with HRBPs and coordinators to identify department needs, recommend changes, and implement improvements
• Partner with broader HR team in the creation of, documentation, and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and processes
• Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries, questions and complaints
• Facilitate internal transfers, oversee and facilitate promotion opportunities, conduct exit interviews, and identify trends to support retention, career development, and to minimize risk for the business
• Provide operational guidance, information, and direction on low-risk employee relations issues, performance management, and other core HR functions
• Counsel and assist employees and managers, guided by the Company’s policies and relevant laws/regulations
• Work with front-line managers and above to implement key HR recommendations and change efforts
• Develop and co-lead HR projects with broader HR team
• Train new HR team members in SpaceX’s systems, processes, and policies
