Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an HR Generalist to counsel a 150-200 employee client group in Redmond, WA. You will partner with HRBPs to identify needs, implement improvements, and help create HR policies and processes. Respond to inquiries, manage transfers and promotions, and support retention and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 6 months as SpaceX HR Coordinator or 1+ year HR experience.
• Experience in an engineering, production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems Greenhouse, UltiPro or Workday.

Responsibilities

• Counsel a small client group (150-200 employees).
• Partner with HRBPs and coordinators to identify department needs and implement improvements.
• Support creation, documentation, and implementation of HR policies, programs, and processes.
• Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries, questions and complaints.
• Facilitate internal transfers, oversee promotions and exit interviews, and support retention and career development.
• Provide guidance on low-risk employee relations, performance management, and core HR functions.
• Counsel employees and managers per policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with front-line managers to implement HR recommendations.
• Develop and co-lead HR projects with the broader HR team.
• Train new HR team members on SpaceX systems, processes, and policies.
