Job summary

Archer is seeking a People Generalist to partner across the employee lifecycle at its San Jose headquarters. This onsite role will own off-boarding, help manage employee relations, and support performance, compensation, and promotion cycles while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

You will build and improve People Team processes, communicate changes to staff, and partner with Legal as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR generalist or HR business partner experience.
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with employee relations, including documentation and investigation support.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to coach and influence managers.
• Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS, and comfort working with data and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and improve People Team processes, policies, and procedures.
• Manage the off-boarding process end to end with cross-functional coordination.
• Conduct exit interviews and share insights with People Team leadership.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies and concerns.
• Support employee relations matters in partnership with People Team lead and Legal.
• Support performance, compensation, and promotion cycles.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with employment laws and audits.
• Contribute to People Team projects and sensitive matters.
