Job summary

Charles Lea Center is hiring an HR Generalist to support HR operations across our North Carolina division. You will partner with leaders to manage talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, performance, training, HR compliance, and engagement initiatives.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, HRIS enhancement, and a positive, inclusive workplace culture while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective employee support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or 4+ years HR experience.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage day-to-day HR operations including employee relations and onboarding.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping, attendance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to maintain service delivery.
• Improve HRIS processes and data reporting.
• Investigate employee concerns and support policy interpretation.
