Job summary

C&J Catering in the United States is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations and maintain confidentiality while interacting with external HR systems such as Workman's compensation, unemployment, and Paylocity.

The role reports to the Senior HR Business Partner, involves payroll, recruiting, benefits, safety, I-9, onboarding/offboarding, and policy updates, with opportunities to contribute to training and employee relations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in human resources post-Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, ACA, and performance reviews in Paylocity.
• Experience with Workman's compensation, unemployment, and safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HR tech issues via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Execute payroll submission and maintenance in Paylocity.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding in Paylocity.
• Administer benefits and maintain records.
• Handle workers' compensation, OSHA 300 tracking, and unemployment hearings.
• Maintain HRIS changes in Paylocity and run HR reports/audits.
• Support employee handbook updates and training functions.
• Communicate updates to Senior HR Business Partner.
