Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Fresno, CA, seeks a Human Resources professional to oversee recruiting, training, employee relations and benefit administration. You will partner with management to communicate policies, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and support a positive, inclusive workplace.

This role emphasizes full-cycle HR duties, new hire orientation, unemployment claims representation, and benefits orientation, with opportunities to drive continuous improvement and employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Sources candidates, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry level, professional and technical job openings.
• Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job related requirements.
• Conducts new hire orientation.
• Performs benefit administration to include change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.
• Conducts benefits orientation to employees.
• Facilitates and/or provides training to the workforce.
• Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
• Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
• Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
• Represents the company for unemployment claims.
• Other duties may be assigned.
