Connected Health Care, a fast-growing healthcare and education staffing firm, seeks a People Operations Generalist to optimize HR technology, support nationwide employees, and manage benefits. The Opportunity

As our People Operations Generalist, you'll work closely with our Director of Operations and leadership team to optimize our systems, support our internal employees, and manage our nationwide workforce. You'll play a critical role in scaling our HR technology infrastructure and managing benefits, while serving as a strategic partner in people management and coaching.

What You'll Do

As our People Operations Generalist, you'll own a wide variety of human resources, tech-driven systems, and people management initiatives, including:

• Tech & Systems Optimization: Own and maintain our HRIS and payroll systems; evaluate, implement, and automate tools to streamline onboarding, offboarding, and data tracking.
• Benefits & Payroll Administration: Manage employee benefits, lead annual open enrollment, coordinate with insurance brokers, and accurately process multi-state payroll.
• People Management & Coaching: Partner with department leaders to provide coaching on employee relations, performance management, feedback loops, and team-building strategies.
• Employee Experience: Serve as a tech-forward, trusted resource for employees regarding workplace questions, benefits navigation, and internal HR policies.
• Compliance & Support: Oversee leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation, and maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Staffing Operations: Assist with internal recruiting efforts and support credentialing/compliance requirements for our nationwide healthcare and education professionals.

Qualifications

• Benefits & Payroll Expertise: Proven experience administering employee benefits, leading or heavily supporting annual open enrollment, and coordinating with vendor partners.
• Tech Skills: Comfortable with modern CRM/HRIS, payroll systems, and digital workplace tools (experience leveraging tech to streamline benefits enrollment is a major plus).
• People Skills: Strong baseline in employee relations, conflict resolution, or manager coaching.
• Core Capabilities: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking skills, and absolute discretion with confidential information.
