Job summary

Steel Technologies is seeking an HR Coordinator to be the main contact for plant teammates and to implement HR policies across payroll, benefits, recruitment, wellness, and relations. This role collaborates with Corporate HR to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment.

You will process payroll for hourly staff, coordinate onboarding, manage benefits enrollment, assist in safety and legal communications, and help maintain accurate HR records with confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred; 2–3 years HR experience required.
• Experience with payroll, benefits, and onboarding.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for hourly staff and drivers.
• Recruit, onboard, and orient new teammates.
• Administer benefits enrollment and open enrollment.
• Support wellness programs and teammate relations.
