Job summary

Amber Charter Schools seeks an HR & Talent Associate to support the People Team across HR and Talent functions. The role manages candidate pipelines, onboarding, and HR compliance, reporting to the Talent Manager and collaborating with the broader People Team.

Responsibilities include inbox management, screening, scheduling, onboarding, timekeeping support, and maintaining confidential data across systems. Hybrid work with on-site presence required at rotating locations.

Qualifications

• 6 months of administrative coordination or office experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Careers and HR inboxes and respond to inquiries with confidentiality.
• Guide candidates through pre-employment compliance and onboarding.
• Coordinate interviews and scheduling using the Greenhouse ATS.
• Support time off inquiries and payroll preparation in UKG.
• Maintain confidential employee data and HR records.
