Established in 1973, T. Lowell Construction, Inc. is based in Castle Rock, Colorado and specializes in water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure installation, repair, rehabilitation, and replacement. With over five decades of experience, we have built a reputation for quality, safety, and outstanding client experience in the heavy civil construction industry. What We’ll Expect from You & What You’ll Be Doing

  • Talent Acquisition & Hiring: Source, recruit, and vet candidates to ensure great hires and continued long-term retention.
  • Onboarding, Training & Growth: Develop structured onboarding, training programs, and career pathways that help employees integrate, improve, and advance, while supporting employees transitioning into new roles.
  • Performance & Compliance: Support leadership in evaluations, feedback, disciplinary processes, and offboarding, ensuring consistency and proper documentation.
  • HR Policies & Procedures: Create and maintain job descriptions, SOPs, the employee handbook, and policies that keep operations running smoothly and meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage PTO, bonus plans, profit sharing, 401(k), health insurance, and drug screening while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with leadership, operations, accounting, and safety teams to align people operations with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience with proactively building and implementing successful processes and driving them forward (and natural tendency to do so).
  • Ability to facilitate breakthrough conversations with emotional intelligence, build trust across all levels from field employees to leadership, and confidently navigate a direct, results-driven environment while helping others do the same.
  • Strong documentation, organization, and execution skills.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ideal (but not required):

---- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources

---- SHRM SCP certification

---- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related field

---- Experience in Construction or similar fields

Compensation and Benefits: $110-150K, based on a combination of experience, education, demonstrated skills, certifications, and other clear job-related factors; [company provided health insurance for you and your family, profit sharing program, 401(k), performance bonuses, two weeks vacation, six paid sick days, six paid holidays].
