The People Operations Analyst at Janus Henderson in Denver, CO, supports People Business Partner operations by keeping HR system records current, auditing data, and assisting with semi-monthly payroll activities in a hybrid work setting. Responsibilities

• Enter employee and organizational changes into the HR system with a high degree of accuracy.
• Support the People Business Partner team with operational components of employee lifecycle events.
• Use reporting to complete regular audits of employee and organizational data within the HR system.
• Manage semi-monthly payroll operations by running required payroll reporting, auditing information, resolving data errors, and collaborating with the Payroll team to ensure timely and accurate submissions for each pay period.
• Identify process improvements within the People Operations team and recommend enhancements.
• Maintain detailed operational guides for team processes.
• Provide first-level system support and troubleshooting for the People team.
• Partner with the People Systems and Technology teams to support system functionality changes, including process reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Produce standard letters on a regular basis for employment verification, unemployment claims, and other required cases.
• Ensure job descriptions are prepared in line with global template standards, local posting requirements or regulations, and general formatting before posting.
• Maintain the employee file room in accordance with record keeping guidelines and requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The People Operations Analyst supports People Business Partner operations by keeping HR system records up to date, auditing employee and organizational data, and assisting with semi-monthly payroll activities. This hybrid role in Denver also includes first-level system support for the People team and coordination with People Systems and Technology on system changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter employee and organizational changes into the HR system of record, including new job postings, pay changes, transfers, and terminations, with a high degree of accuracy
• Support the People Business Partner team with operational components of employee lifecycle events
• Use reporting to complete regular audits of employee and organizational data within the HR system
• Manage semi-monthly payroll operations by running required payroll reporting, auditing information, resolving data errors, and collaborating with the Payroll team to ensure timely and accurate submissions for each pay period

Compensation and Location

• Location: Denver, CO (hybrid)
• Base salary range: USD $65,000 to $70,000 per year
• The salary range is estimated for this role and actual pay may differ
