Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a high-velocity People M&A Leader to own the human side of mergers and acquisitions end-to-end. You will be the single designated point person to our Corporate Development team, managing the People lifecycle for all deals from due diligence to post-close integration.

Reporting to the VP, Talent, you will coordinate across Recruiting, Compensation, Immigration, IT and Payroll, build scalable processes, and ensure a world-class onboarding experience for newly acquired teams.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in HR M&A.
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, unstructured environments where templates are built on the fly.
• Outstanding project management skills; handle highly confidential data under tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of employment law, compensation structures, and visa/immigration for global talent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People team representative alongside Corporate Development and Legal from deal kickoff through close.
• Map key employees, onboarding, and the first 30 days to feed into integration work.
• Lead rapid HR due diligence to assess culture, compensation structures, and compliance risks.
• Evaluate talent density and influence deal structures, retention plans, and offer letters.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Recruiting, Compensation, People Operations, Immigration, Mobility, Payroll, IT) to align timelines.
