Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing is seeking an HR & Development Specialist to hire, welcome, and develop team members at our Van Buren, IN plant. You will collaborate with plant leaders to improve experiences that enable people to stay and grow, while handling onboarding, leaves, attendance, and HR records.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional projects, supporting hourly manufacturing staff, and delivering learning paths and proficiency progress. Onsite work across shifts is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, OD, or equivalent education and experience.
• Three+ years in recruiting, HR, workforce development, or learning and development.
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams and programs.
• Knowledge of FMLA, leave administration, attendance, and HR recordkeeping.
• Strong communication, facilitation, relationship building, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with standard business tech and HRIS, ATS, learning, and reporting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate recruiting for assigned plant roles, including sourcing and interviews.
• Oversee onboarding from offer to orientation and training handoff.
• Lead new hire check-ins and address first-90-days barriers.
• Run retention projects and analyze workforce trends with plant leaders.
• Partner with Operations and Continuous Skills Development on training paths.
• Manage leaves, attendance, unemployment claims, HR records, and related work.
• Provide confidential HR support to team members and leaders onsite.
