Free People is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Skokie, IL to support selling, service, and operations in a dynamic fashion environment. You will lead by example, develop team members, and partner with leadership to maintain an engaging store presence.

You will drive customer relationships, manage in‑store and online order flow, and ensure visual standards while supporting scheduling and payroll. This role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Loves the FP brand and demonstrates customer‑centric selling.
• Minimum 1+ years in store leadership or supervisory role.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to prioritize customer service and styling to drive store metrics.
• Act as manager‑on‑duty, driving engagement across zones and interpersonal accountability.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring and onboarding to build bench strength.
• Oversee daily operations: sales forecasting, scheduling, payroll, and zone charts.
• Ensure omni‑channel orders are processed timely and maintain visuals.
• Uphold safety, inventory accuracy and loss prevention.
