Job summary

Burger King is seeking a supervisory team member for our Iowa restaurant to lead daily operations and deliver guest experiences that keep customers coming back. Based in Harlan, IA, you will guide the crew, train staff, and ensure high standards of service and cleanliness.

You will partner with the General Manager to optimize scheduling, monitor QSC metrics, and coach employees to improve performance while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent guest service skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to resolve issues per Burger King standards.
• Flexible to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop Servant Leaders—put people and restaurant first.
• Create memorable experiences for guests.
• Maintain balance between guest/employee experience and financial goals.
• Welcome new team members and train them.
• Lead team huddles and coach team members.
• Ensure ongoing training and coaching for staff.
• Monitor speed of service and guest expectations.
• Ensure cleanliness and product quality standards.
• Review sales and scheduling to meet QSC targets.
• Manage daily numbers, cash handling, and HACCP logs.
• Review inventory and adjust orders; implement cost controls.
• Create and monitor schedules; onboard new team members.
