Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking an HR Coordinator to support interview processes, onboarding and local recruitment efforts. You will partner with the Owner/Operator to ensure compliance and uphold CORE values while delivering exceptional team member experiences.

The role requires an HR degree or certification, 2+ years of HR experience, and ServSafe certification. Starting pay is $20–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience, with opportunities for leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly in-person interviews of applicants
• Conduct weekly virtual interviews of applicants
• Maintain current job postings, send offer letters, and onboarding paperwork
• Attend job fairs and recruiting/networking events
• New hire orientation with Training Director
• Keep employee digital files up to date
• Keep personnel files organized, maintained and in compliance
• Track local, state and federal labor laws and work with Owner/Operator to ensure compliance
• Work with Owner/Operator on annual employee handbook and policy updates
• Partner with Operator on recruitment, and retention efforts
• Partner with Operator to develop local talent strategy.
