Chick-fil-A Howland in Howland Center, OH is hiring an HR Assistant to own the people side of our restaurant. You’ll manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting to onboarding, training, and maintaining files, while also working on the floor with the team to learn operations firsthand.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, are self-starters with strong communication, and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

About the Role

Chick-fil-A Howland is looking for an HR Assistant to lead the people side of our restaurant. You'll own the full employee lifecycle, from finding and hiring great candidates to training them, getting them onboarded, and keeping their employee files in order. This isn't a desk-only role. You'll also spend time on the floor with the team, so you'll get to know our people and our operations firsthand.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the full hiring process, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, and extending offers
• Lead training for new hires so they're set up for success from day one
• Own the onboarding process from start to finish, making sure new team members feel welcomed and prepared
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee files and records
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Follow Chick-fil-A's operational policies and procedures
• Maintain a positive working relationship and treat all employees with honor, dignity, and respect while providing them with direction and feedback
• Achieve strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks
• Responsible for facilities management
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for up to 4 hours and lifting up to 40 lbs
• All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

Compensation

$38,000 - $42,000 per year, based on experience
