Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support our Carthage Wire Mill facility in Carthage, MO.

You will implement and coordinate HR policies covering recruitment, compensation, benefits, labor relations, training and EEO, with a direct impact on engagement and retention. The role requires five years of HR management experience in a manufacturing setting, strong compliance knowledge, and the ability to lead strategic HR initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Five years of human resources manager experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations including EEO and Immigration.

Responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate policies and programs covering recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, employee and/or labor relations, organization development, training and EEO.
• Ensure payroll processing accuracy and maintain personnel records in compliance with laws.
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary actions, and exit interviews; support performance appraisal processes.
