Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support our Carthage Wire Mill in Carthage, MO. You will implement and coordinate HR policies covering recruitment, compensation, benefits, labor relations, training, and EEO compliance.

This role shapes an engaging, compliant HR program to enhance employee engagement and retention. You will lead recruitment, supervise payroll coordination, maintain personnel records, and drive wage reviews, performance appraisals, and training

Qualifications

• Five years of human resources management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations including EEO and immigration.
• Experience developing and executing HR strategies within a business unit.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate HR programs: recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws affecting HR, payroll and personnel issues.
• Oversee payroll processes and accuracy, HR communications, and records management.
• Assist in performance management, training program development, and ISO-related orientation.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions and organizational charts; assist wage reviews.
