Job summary

Rural King in the United States is seeking a Human Resources Lead to support store-level HR operations and create a positive associate experience. This role partners with store leadership to support recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, training, benefits administration, performance management, and associate engagement.

The HR Lead serves as a resource for associates and leaders while helping build a workplace culture centered around People First,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience preferred.
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, or associate engagement.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment policies, and workplace compliance.
• Experience using HRIS, ATS, or other computer‑based systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: review applications, conduct phone screenings, assist with candidate selection, coordinate interviews and support events.
• Associate Support & HR Operations: coordinate onboarding, maintain records, assist with benefits administration and HR reporting.
• Employee Relations, Training & Compliance: partner on employee relations, investigations, training programs, and policy compliance.
• Store Support: maintain confidentiality, communicate programs and updates, support associates, leaders and HQ partners.
