Job summary

Rural King is seeking an HR Lead to support store-level HR operations and create a positive associate experience. You will partner with store leadership to drive recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations.

The role focuses on building a People First culture with integrity, initiative, teamwork, and continuous improvement, while supporting safety and policy compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment policies, and workplace compliance.
• Experience using HRIS, ATS, or other computer-based systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with associates and leadership at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: review applications, conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, and support hiring events.
• Associate Support & HR Operations: coordinate onboarding, maintain records, support benefits, and HR reporting.
• Employee Relations, Training & Compliance: partner with managers, assist investigations, coordinate training and policy compliance.
• Store Support: maintain confidentiality, communicate programs, provide professional support, and assist cross-training.
