Schaeffler is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with employees and leaders in our Troy and Auburn Hills, MI locations. The role delivers hands-on HR support across employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably supporting engineering, automotive, or technical groups.
• Demonstrated success as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner in a matrixed, multi-site, or complex organization.
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws with experience in employee relations and performance management.
• Strong communication, analytical and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, talent development, and organizational matters.
• Partner with managers on workforce needs, including headcount planning, recruiting, onboarding, development, succession planning, and retention.
• Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance discussions, development planning, and performance plans.
• Coach and advise managers on people-management practices, development, accountability, and policy application.
• Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and proper documentation and escalation.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support staffing and positive candidate/employee experience.
• Support compensation, job evaluation, promotions, transfers, and other lifecycle activities with HR leadership.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and support HR transactions and changes.
• Prepare and analyze HR reports and workforce metrics to identify trends and risks.
