Chicken Salad Chick in Tampa seeks an experienced General Manager to lead and develop a team on a ground-floor opportunity with one of the fastest-growing regional chains in Quick Casual. Direct planning, training, and leadership to achieve sales, service, quality, and cleanliness goals while upholding standards of operation.

The role requires hands-on leadership, staff development, and strict adherence to brand standards, delivering outstanding guest experiences and responsible cash handling.

Qualifications

• Three years of proven restaurant General Manager Experience.
• Serve as a Brand Ambassador for Chicken Salad Chick.
• Ensure Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.
• Ensure products are prepared and served according to CSC standards.
• Achieve objectives for sales, service, quality, appearance and sanitation through training and positive leadership.
• Control cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
• Develop staff in managerial and professional development.
• Schedule to maximize labor while delivering a superb guest experience.
• Comply with health, safety and labor regulations governing the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Three years of proven restaurant General Manager Experience

• Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures, standards and training programs
• Ensure guests feel welcome with friendly and courteous service
• Ensure products are consistently prepared and served to CSC standards
• Achieve objectives for sales, service, quality, sanitation and cleanliness through training
• Control cash handling and reconciliation procedures
• Make hiring and termination decisions
• Underfill in as needed for guest service and operations
• Develop staff in managerial and professional development
• Prepare paperwork, forms and reports in a timely manner
• Ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained through inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure deliveries meet policies and are received properly
• Oversee and complete employee performance appraisals timely
• Maximize labor efficiency while maintaining guest experience
• Enforce company policies fairly and promptly
• Understand and comply with health, safety, and labor regulations
• Develop and implement restaurant marketing and promotions in line with Brand Standards
• Adhere to Brand Standards for uniform and grooming
