La Madeleine French Bakery & Café is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, coach a talented team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll drive financial performance, uphold high standards of cleanliness and service, and engage with the community to grow the brand.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of GM restaurant experience, strong leadership, and a ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant general management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain a high-performing team.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Run the show—Oversee daily café operations, opening and closing procedures.
• Champion standards—Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Inspect & perfect—Conduct regular walkthroughs and audits for consistency and compliance.
• Drive performance—Monitor and analyze key metrics to boost revenue and profitability.
• Control the numbers—Manage labor, food, and controllable costs to meet budgets.
• Grow the brand—Execute local marketing and build community relationships.
• Lead by example—Inspire the team with service excellence and accountability.
• Coach & develop—Set expectations, provide feedback, and create growth paths.
