La Madeleine French Bakery & Café seeks a General Manager to lead daily café operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will open and close the store, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and drive performance through data-driven decisions.

Build a strong team, manage labor and costs, and execute local marketing to grow the brand. The role requires proven restaurant management experience, strong leadership and financial acumen, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant general management experience.
• Proven leadership and ability to retain a high-performing team.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run the Show - Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Champion Standards - Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Inspect & Perfect - Regular walkthroughs and audits to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Drive Performance - Monitor metrics to boost revenue and profitability.
• Control the Numbers - Manage labor, food, and controllable costs to meet budget goals.
• Grow the Brand - Execute local marketing initiatives and build community relationships.
