Carter's in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, showcase our baby essentials and school readiness styles, and help parents and grandparents find the right fits with warmth and experts guidance.

You will support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and coaching the team, plan merchandising and promotions, and monitor KPIs to improve sales while maintaining a safe, inclusive store

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles and benefits.
• Support Store Manager with recruiting, training, and team development.
• Analyze business results and drive KPIs with the team.
• Maintain merchandising standards and plan promotions.
