Job summary

Potbelly is seeking an Assistant Manager in Frisco, TX to co-lead a busy Potbelly shop. You will train and develop Associates and Shift Leaders, interview new hires, and foster a Good Vibes culture to boost teamwork and customer satisfaction.

You will schedule staff, manage cost controls, ensure food safety, and handle customer issues while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a full-time leadership role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of at least 2 years management experience in either a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to qualify for leadership roles.
• Must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and develop Potbelly Associates and Shift Leaders.
• Interview and hire Associates, Certified Trainers and Shift Leaders.
• Maintain a Good Vibes culture to attract and retain staff.
• Schedule Associates, Certified Trainers and Shift Leaders.
• Ensure all security procedures are followed.
• Manage back-of-house standards and cash handling.
• Drive shop marketing and recruiting outside of shop.
• Assist GM with cost of goods, variances and inventories.
