Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Columbus is seeking a Manager of Human Resources to join our service-driven HR team. This role focuses on supporting the employee experience through administrative and analytical work, with emphasis on policy guidance and responsive service.

Responsibilities include HR data coordination, onboarding support, performance programs, and reporting from our HCM system. The ideal candidate has a BA with analytical coursework and 3–5 years in HR, aligned with Catholic teachings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with analytical coursework.
• 3–5 years' experience in HR.
• Alignment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Strong service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary service to employees and direct them to the appropriate HR parties.
• Manage the HR request tracker and escalate as needed.
• Develop programs for performance management and training.
• Assist onboarding, reference checks, I-9s and benefits.
• Serve as data coordinator for HR and run reports from the HCM platform.
• Execute projects to improve operational health and employee experience.
• Act as power-user for the HCM platform and support administrators and users.
