Job summary

SLB is seeking an HR Representative in the United States to support employees and managers on hiring, relocation, benefits, career development, performance appraisals and promotions. The role assists the HR Manager in policy design, development and implementation and ensures compliance with privacy guidelines.

The candidate will be the first point of contact for management and staff queries, coordinate training and recruitment, screen applicants and coach new team members while handling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and 3+ years of experience in Employee Support, HR Generalist or Employee Relations
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Experience working with SuccessFactors and/or other HRIS systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy
• SHRM-CP or PHR designation preferred
• US Employment Regulations familiarity preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Support employees and managers on hiring, relocation, benefits, career development, performance appraisals, compensation and promotions
• Be the first line of contact for management and employee queries
• Assist HR Manager in design, development, and implementation of policies, programs, and procedures
• Coordinate internal and external training and recruitment activities
• Screen and interview applicants as required
• Assist with coaching and developing new team members
• Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation
