Job summary

Orbital is hiring an experienced People Enablement Partner to design, drive, and deliver how we support and retain world-class talent in the US as part of our expansion. You will operate across Partner and Product layers, partnering with managers and stakeholders to surface insights and own scalable people solutions.

You’ll report to the People Director initially and then to the NY-based VP of People, helping build a modern People function that treats Employee Experience as a Product and scales

Qualifications

• Experience in People Partnering or People Operations with ability to build scalable initiatives.
• Strong working knowledge of US federal and state employment laws (FLSA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, EEO).
• Comfort with at-will employment and multi-state separations, plus advising on leaves.
• Hands-on experience with FMLA administration and leave processes.
• Ability to transform insights into business impact and build playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to diagnose team challenges and shape the People Product roadmap.
• Coach managers on performance, conduct, and team issues with practical guidance.
• Apply product management principles to design new People processes.
• Design scalable People Products that scale with the business.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of People Products from problem to rollout.
• Advise on US employment matters across multi-state compliance.
• Identify patterns signaling need for new solutions and translate into recommendations.
• Measure outcomes and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate across Partner, Product, and Platform layers to align efforts.
