Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Lead People Based Quality Engineer to direct PBQ programs across the project, reporting to the Project Quality Manager. You will guide data-driven improvements, mentor PBQ teams, and ensure root-cause analysis informs action plans for right-first-time quality across functions.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 8–14 years of relevant quality experience, with strong facilitation, leadership, and PBQ method knowledge to drive performance improvements on a large-scale

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8–10 years of quality experience or 12–14 years of quality experience.
Experience leading PBQ programs and teams to deliver measurable improvements.
Proven ability to influence and drive change in large projects.

Responsibilities

Support PQM in developing and implementing a PBQ program and risk-based strategy.
Manage and supervise PBQ team members.
Plan, scope, and select PBQ tools for projects.
Analyze data from processes and metrics across projects.
Develop performance metrics to measure PBQ impact.
Monitor PBQ outputs to drive improvements.
Lead PBQ workshops and training sessions for employees.
Develop standardized PBQ performance indicators for the project.
