Job summary

Bechtel is leading a major New Albany, Ohio semiconductor project and seeks a Lead People Based Quality Engineer (PBQE) to drive the PBQ program. You will partner with the Project Quality Manager to develop a risk-based PBQ strategy and deliver training, dashboards, and measurable improvements across functions.

You will apply PBQ tools, lead workshops, and mentor teams to close gaps and achieve Right the First Time quality while reporting progress to leadership and ensuring institutionalized

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant quality experience or 12–14 years overall.
• PBQ training/certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience leading PBQ programs in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Startup, Operations environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead PBQ program development and risk-based strategy across the project.
• Supervise PBQ team members and coordinate with PQM.
• Select PBQ tools and oversee data collection and dashboards.
• Analyze data and develop metrics to measure PBQ improvements.
• Drive improvements and governance through PBQ workshops and training.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
