Job summary

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead recruitment and onboarding, learning and development, employee engagement, HRIS administration, and recognition programs within a collaborative People & Culture team.

This exempt, on-site role supports departments to attract, develop, engage, and retain a high-performing workforce while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, records management, and policy administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience across recruitment, onboarding, training, and compliance.
• Experience with HRIS (SAP or similar) and records management.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and administers recruitment, onboarding, and pre-employment activities.
• Develops and delivers training, leadership development, and employee programs.
• Manages HRIS processes, reporting, and data integrity.
• Maintains personnel records and ensures compliance with laws and policies.
• Supports performance management, compensation, and employee engagement initiatives.
• collaborates with departments to attract, develop, engage, and retain a high-performing workforce.
