Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Staff Relations Manager to foster a positive, equitable work environment and guide conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and staff development in Park City, Utah. This in-person role partners with Leadership to design learning initiatives and ensure compliant, fair processes across the organization.

The position focuses on proactive communication, staff engagement, and retention, aligning with company values.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience with a strong focus on staff relations.
• Demonstrated experience handling staff relations cases and conducting workplace investigations.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, mediation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., ADA, FMLA, EEO).
• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive confidential matters with discretion.

• Design and manage a comprehensive Staff Relations Program to support healthy, transparent communication between staff and leadership.
• Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, engagement, and open feedback.
• Monitor trends and metrics to improve retention and engagement.
• Lead investigations into grievances, harassment, or misconduct with impartiality.
• Provide guidance on conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and performance management.
• Oversee learning and development alignment with organizational goals.
• Assist in keeping staff compliance with employment laws and company policies.
