Zekelman Industries is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Wheatland, PA to support a wide range of HR functions. The role partners with managers and employees to foster a positive workplace while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

The successful candidate will handle employee relations, onboarding, leave administration, and safety program support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with HRIS systems and unionized settings is preferred.

Formación

• 2-5 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including EEOC and DOL
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Promote safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support recruitment
• Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, attendance issues, corrective action, and performance concerns
• Coordinate employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives
• Assist with labor relations and contract administration with union representatives
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding/offboarding processes
• Administer leave of absence and accommodation programs including FMLA, ADA, USERRA
• Support HR reporting, audits, policy administration, and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
