LUMA Hotel Times Square is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead talent initiatives in a fast-paced hotel environment in New York City. You will champion morale, oversee recruitment, benefits, training, payroll and employee relations, and partner with operations to drive a service culture.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in HR management, hotel experience, and a solid understanding of HR policies and UltiPro.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of Human Resources Management experience.
• Experience in a hotel environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Complete all human resources functions in a timely and efficient manner: recruiting, hiring, payroll, benefits administration, leave of absence, workers’ compensation, employee relations, training and development.
• Ensure hotel compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Manage hotel and HR strategy to develop a service oriented culture.
• Conduct investigations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Direct and ensure the efficient administration and management of the HR function.
• Communicate employment, education, professional development, benefits, compensation and team member practices for the hotel.
• Recruit, interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate team members.
• Manage the financial aspects of the department's budget.
• Foster a positive culture within the hotel and provide guidance to management and hourly teammates.
• Administer leave of absence paperwork and communication.
• Full-cycle payroll.
• Other duties as assigned.
