Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a People Consultant to serve as a primary contact for People Managers, delivering proactive HR support across Summit, NJ. You will partner with local HR leaders to advance business priorities and enhance the employee experience.

The role requires balance of people-focused perspective and operational execution, with a track record of coaching managers and influencing senior leaders. Strong analytics and change-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years HR experience in international, matrixed environments.
• HR or equivalent degree qualification.
• Experience across HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, HR Operations/Services.
• Exposure to employee relations issues.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach people managers.
• Ability to work across cultures and matrixed partnerships.
• Excellent English communication; other languages a plus.
• Strong networking with employees, HR partners and leaders.
• Experience coordinating and supporting projects.

Responsabilités

• Serve as trusted advisor to managers on complex workforce matters and HR policy.
• Proactively develop and implement strategies to upskill new People Managers and advise experienced People Managers.
• Exercise discretion and sound judgment to determine effective resolution paths.
• Partner with HRBPs to identify proactive interventions and people practices.
• Ensure workforce and leaders understand People processes.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of global priorities with People Services, advocating improvements.
• Partner with global COEs and Process Designers to roll out global programmes.
• Develop understanding of NJ employment legislation to ensure compliant advice.
• Research, resolve, and respond to HR issues with People Services, HRBPs, and COEs.
• Collaborate with peers to share improvements in employee experience.
• May lead or contribute to People-related projects.
