Job summary

Itron, Inc. seeks a motivated intern to support the HRIS and People Analytics team in Liberty Lake, WA. You will collect and analyze workforce data, build dashboards, and collaborate with HR and global stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or graduate degree program in HR, HRIS, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong technical aptitude with data, reporting, analytics, or BI tools.
• Intermediate Excel with data manipulation, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Support People Analytics projects and routine reporting by collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing workforce and HR data.
• Assist in developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations.
• Partner with HR and global stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Identify and apply AI/ML techniques to datasets to identify predictive patterns.
• Prototype AI-powered reporting tools to translate data into insights for HR and leadership.
