Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Business Analytics Specialist to support statewide HR analytics and deliver data-driven insights that drive talent strategies. You will build trusted relationships with HR and leadership, turning complex data into actionable stories using BI tools and data visualization.

Onsite presence is required one day per week in a hybrid arrangement; you will define KPIs, develop dashboards, and collaborate with ISD and Visier to optimize workforce planning across UNC Health Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Three (3) years of analytics experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work with large, disparate data sets and tell the data story.

Responsibilities

• Builds consultative relationships with HR and business leaders to deliver workforce insights.
• Develops data models to inform talent strategies and acts as a liaison between HR and ISD.
• Translates workforce questions into actionable analytics using dashboards and reports.
• Defines reporting requirements and partners with ISD to automate dashboards and reports.
• Supports Visier implementation and uses predictive analytics for workforce planning.
