Job summary

Dropbox is seeking a Data Analyst for the People Analytics team to shape hiring strategy through data-driven insights. You’ll partner with Talent Acquisition, People Partners, and leaders to analyze hiring data, surface trends, and influence workforce planning and candidate experience.

You will translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses, deliver clear recommendations, and uphold data quality across the analytics lifecycle. Collaboration and data storytelling are crucial to success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in an analytical or quantitative field.
• 3+ years HR analytics with a focus on Recruiting/Talent Acquisition insights.
• SQL fluency and advanced Excel; experience with R or Python.
• Strong storytelling with data for varied audiences and decisions.
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Experience leading analytics projects end-to-end and leveraging AI in workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner on analytics initiatives to understand and improve hiring effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.
• Translate business questions into structured analyses and actionable conclusions.
• Monitor core TA metrics and identify trends behind performance changes.
• Lead requirements gathering and translate needs into analyses and insights for People leaders.
• Deliver data forensics and insights using the data warehouse for timely impact.
• Validate data quality, standardize definitions, and contribute to data toolkits.
