Job summary

Paychex is seeking a sales professional to drive PEO products, develop new clients, and expand the broker referral network. You will engage key stakeholders, qualify needs, and guide opportunities from prospecting through onboarding.

Responsibilities include managing broker referrals, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth client transition to Paychex PEO services. Travel may be required for conferences and regional meetings.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 years of experience in sales or sales management.
• 2 years of experience in sales/sales management.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of Sales management within quota attainment guidelines.
• Leverage Go-to-Market strategy to identify customer needs and present Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
• Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources, specifically brokers, to secure referrals.
• Prospect for new clients and referral sources outside the Paychex base via phone, mail, events, and local programs.
• Analyze prospects’ needs and determine appropriate products, referring to the correct sales partner.
• Complete and submit new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by set dates.
• Onboard PEO clients ensuring a smooth transition to the PEO service and resolve client issues.
• Represent Paychex positively to clients and the community to create sales opportunities.
• Attend partner meetings to educate on PEO services and processes.
• Develop technical, competitive and sales skills to effectively represent PEO Sales.
• May travel outside territory for conferences, trainings, or meetings.
