Job summary

Paychex is seeking a project manager to lead the implementation of Paychex software and hardware for clients, overseeing onboarding and ensuring a cohesive experience. This role interfaces with Payroll, Benefits, Human Resources, and Sales teams, both internally and with clients and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in onboarding and strong coordination skills. Base pay ranges from $49,000 to $77,000 annually, plus bonus, reflecting location, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and demonstrated experience in client onboarding.
• 2 years of experience in client onboarding or related implementation work.
• Strong communication and sales aptitude preferred.
• Experience coordinating multiple internal teams during deployments.
• Project management and scope management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the client contact during implementation to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
• Manage client employee benefit onboarding and conduct orientation meetings.
• Create and manage implementation timelines and define responsibilities.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and Sales teams and external brokers.
• Monitor changes in scope, identify risks, and plan contingencies.
• Provide status reports to management and ensure a smooth transition to ongoing service.
• Coordinate client training and recommend process improvements.
